Patagonia Wavefarer Bucket Hat in Ash Tan. Returning as part of the brand’s latest seasonal release, this sustainably-manufactured Patagonia bucket hat is constructed from recycled nylon which is stretch-woven to increase its overall sense of all-season durability. Treated with a DWR-coated finish to make this hat completely waterproof and perfect in the sea as well as on land, whilst a lightweight foam trim helps it float if cast overboard. The 360 degree brim protects you from the sun, with the built-in UPF 50 sun protection providing additional security alongside the embroidered ventilation eyelets across the sides. The design is self-storable via its own integrated storage pocket, whilst the light-beige taped seam complements the classic P-6 flag label for a touch of certified classic character.

Despite being simplistically designed in construction and look, this bucket hat reflects Patagonia’s commitment to less environmentally impactful production of clothes. In this case the nylon is 92% recycled, a process which was created by Patagonia’s inhouse research team only five years ago due to the complexity in the nature of recycling nylon.
